Sewing Tips needed

My next project is a shoulder-bag of felt for my daughter.

First I stitch the heart, than a sheet of felt with passe-partout should be sewn on the front side of the bag.

I am not a good seamstress. What do I need for a needle .so I can sew the felt sheet on the bag?
Are there special needles for felt?
I have no experience in these things. (sewing, felting)
All help is very welcome:handshake

I would think Bleu a regular needle would work perfectly. It is sewing after all.Try taking some thread and a needle and on a scrap piece do a few stitches and see if it's OK, ifyou need a larger seam.......try using a larger needle or two strands of thread.I would recommend two threads, just to make it sturdy, since it is to be used.

Thank you LouAnna,
I'll try this, first to sew on an extra piece of felt,
sometimes I stand on the line,
and didn't think of the nearest match result ;P

Chenille needles often work well in felt.

Are you sewing the bag by hand or by machine?

Yo tambien creo que con una aguja normal (no de bordar punto de cruz) estaria perfecto
