You can start anywhere.  Whatever you are comfortable doing and definitely something you like. It doesn’t matter what size big or small, the stitches are the same

Start where you feel comfortable!  The stitches are the same with large or small projects. Just make sure whatever you chose is something you like. I find it hard to make something that I do not personally care for.
