Hello All,

So I had posted earlier last month about starting big projects, and how I know its always good to get encouragment in the middle, Cant count the projects I've dropped midway through. So I wanted to share my progress, Im working on a bedspred at the moment, I kinda picked a cross stitch pattern that i liked and knitted it, and now that 1 panel is done i think it will be a bedspred (cause its huge)

Anyone else working on a big project at the moment, Please share and we can all cheer each other on.

Incredible patience you have for taking on such a project.  It is fabulous and looks like it will be an heirloom piece.  I wanted to knit the Persian throw in blue and white for the delft look but haven't taken the plunge yet....maybe sometime this year after I finish a few projects in the works.   Looking forward to your finish. :D

Wow, I've always wanted to knit an afghan, but with time constraints, it's not going to happen anytime soon!   I did make a granny square one years ago for my Dad to replace an old one.

It doesn't matter if anyone else is working on a big project, we will cheer you on in your quest to finish this masterpiece!   :D

IT's really beautiful!  It looks as if you're twisting the stitches....is that to keep the design tighter?

well Im knitting it on a knitters board, so its double sided, I used 2 diff types of yarn, a virgin wool and an alpaca blend, of each color, so 4 threads in total, and  each stitch is double so it is nice and tight.
