I'm using worsted weight yarn. The canvas is actually crochet, a simple sc dc sequence.
No cross stitching, the flowers are all made separately and sewn on.

You are correct about the link, it doesn't go to the right thread and I can't locate it. It may have been removed. If so, I'll upload it.

When someone visits this page from a link you share, you will be rewarded

Yup, all the pieces have to be sewn onto the base blanket.

It is a fun project. I've made some daffodils and a chrysanthemum... the loop daisy was too plain. Will share another picture tomorrow.  Post time 2013-11-23 07:27

Here I am at Week 2.

I changed my mind about the rose that is in the pattern and made some rosettes in stead. Didn't like the loop daisy or the wild flower, so I made a Chrysanthemum and some daffodils (Pattern HERE). :)

My plan is to add a sunflower on the upper left and a daisy below it, then add the pansies, grass and bugs from the pattern.

I plan to post one  PDF wilth all the flowers I changed so anyone itnersted doesn't have to hunt them down individually.

Should have it all laid out and ready for sweing next weekend.
