I am using the water eraser pen from Jpan and it disappear in 2 days. It is more like air eraser... I have also tried the pen made in China, which look like normal pen and they are always there. Soaking in tape water 10min can erase all the marks
Oh wow this is all great information. I didn't realise about the frixion pens. I've been hunting around for ages for something to use and have one of those other in my pencil case. Guess i will try trialing it out now. Thank you so much
hello. yes i do mark or grid my fabric for easy counting. i use DMC Water erasable pen that can be bought in craft store. sometimes if I dont have that pen, I use Yellow Crystal waterbase pen or yellow Crayola Ultra Washable marker
Frixion pens work like magic. I've been using these pens for almost 2 years now and I threw away all my water soluble markers a long time ago. LOL.

I grid my fabric with Pilot Frixion pen all the time. It's fast to draw the grids, and it's even faster to erase the ink. Just heat you fabric with a clothes iron and the ink will become transparent. I know a lot of quilters use these pens to draw patterns and such.
After all I used fishing line to grid my new project. Took a few hours to grid 11x15 16 count aida but my eyes is less tired now. Will try Pilot Frixion pen on smaller project. Thanks all.

I've never used a grid or maked off my fabric and I've done some really large projects that required a full yard of linen. I might grid if I ever did a HEAD chart. I would not use a pen but would use some type of thread or maverick floss to do the gridding.
Wow. In this forum every day I learn somet new idea!! My son uses Pilot Frixion at school, but I never thought to use it to make a grid! Thank you very much.
