Crochet Beginner

I am new to crochet, but decided on Saturday (3rd May 2014) I was going to go to town and buy myself a few crochet supplies to start me off.

Over the last couple of days, I have been watching a youtube video, and even had a friend help me out on facebook with her 'wip' she too has just mastered the craft and I am now starting to grasp it too..

I followed a crochet for beginners video of doing an Afghan blanket.

The first 2 don't mean much to be but I am very impressed with what I have made regardless.

I have been casting them off as I go along because I am new I haven't wanted to see how I am progressing.

I see improvement with each piece! I want to learn crochet too ... I tried once and created a misshapen thing and gave up. But I want to try again now. Thanks for the inspiration :)
