[Finished Crafts] Turkish Delight

I had a go at making Turkish Delight. Some were covered with icing sugar, some with coconut and the others with sugar granules.
They were so delicious.

Ingredients
    3 cup water
    2 cup sugar
    4 tbs gelatine powder
    1 1/2 cup icing sugar sifted
    2/3 cup cornflour
    1/4 tsp cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp rosewater
    2 drops pink liquid food colouring
    3/4 cup icing sugar sifted

Method
    STEP 1 Combine water, sugar and gelatine in a large microwave safe dish.
    STEP 2 Microwave on high for 7 minutes. Stir well cook for a further 7 minutes.
    STEP 3 Combine icing sugar, cornflour and cream of tartar.
    STEP 4 Stir into sugar syrup.
    STEP 5 Microwave on high power for another 6 minutes.
    STEP 6 Blend in the rose water and colouring.
    STEP 7 Pour into lightly oiled 18 x 28 cm lamington pan.
    STEP 8 Refrigerate until firm.
    STEP 9 Cut into small logs using a wet knife.
    STEP 10 Toss in icing sugar.
    STEP 11 Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

That looks delicious, reminds me of "The Lion the witch and the wardrobe"  One of the characters eats enchanted turkish delight
