I have stitched a few Mirabilia on 32 count fabric and used mill hill beads as recommended.  I found that the beads dont always fit and seem too large for 32 count.  Anyone else here have the same problem or have any tips for this problem?.  I would really appreciate your help.Thank you.  Jilly

I have had the same issue trying to use Mill Hill beads on 32 ct when an area is heavily beaded. I stitched Butternut Road’s Spirit Dancer on 28ct and still had to leave out a row of beads on the necklace. Delica beads are supposed to be precise in size than Mill Hill. I think I will try them the next time I have a chart that is heavily beaded.

Makes sense.  Not sure why Mirabilia wouldn't recommend that.  I had all these Mirabilia patterns in my to do list and have already bought all my linen in 32 cou b t. :D

I am not sure either, i changed the colour and the size of the beads to the nearest i could find to match in many of the patterns i stitched the effect was not bad at all you could try doing that.  Post time 2016-1-17 16:14

mill hill does make "seed beads" which are smaller. you may nit get the same color variety as their regular-sized ones. you can try delica beads from firemountaingems . com

I think it's better to use 28ct for mill hill beads especially if there is a large area for connecting beads
