My mom had a lot of problems with autoimmune issues and at one point had problems with tinnitus/vertigo/fatigue (she had been previously diagnosed with CFS, they thought it was SLE but ruled it out eventually).  Anyhow, they decided it wasn't Meinere's/endolymphatic hydrops.  She did, however get some injections of gentamycin(?) not 100% sure which antibiotic they gave her.  Aaaanyhow, she has a pretty complex medical history with other autoimmune stuff going on and it was never clear if it was some type of migraine or what.  It's not fun at all... she found the vertigo especially terrifying/nauseating.    I hope you get a good otolaryngologist and find out what's wrong (and get good treatment and support).

PS Forgot to say she was about 45 when she got the vertigo and 'underwater hearing' and pain from loud noises... she had had tinnitus and migraines for ages...

My husband was diagnosed with Meinere's Disease in the 1980's.  He has suffered from it since but keeps it mostly under control with medication.

My brother-in-law suffered from this disease.  He was unable to drive and suffered from varying degrees of dizziness.  I'm not sure if it affects people differently.  If asked to "explain" it I would say it's effects are similar to vertigo which can be very debilitating.  My husband suffered brief periods with this and the medications did not work for him.  It hasn't happened in several years now so we don't know what brought on the episodes.

Local honey has many uses and I'm a big fan. It's because the bees get the pollen from the area you're living in - it helps with asthma and allergies for sure.  Post time 2017-7-3 01:11
Meds didn't work for me either. Someone told me to try local honey (not from the health food store or supermarket), i take 1 table.spoon a day and it worked. Haven't been dizzy in almost 2 months  Post time 2017-7-2 08:19
