I didn't hear anything about losing gold coins but since I've gotten a few I purchased a red card and put a "gift" on my page. It's always nice to give back too. I'll probably never use all the coins I get so why not share a few :-) Although, I am a patternaholic and love having them "just in case I want to make it". I'm sure many on here feel the same way.

I don't know! Someone was mentioning that people were complaining about having to register for that beta site and losing gold. Can't hurt to spend it as I get it, I figured. Don't want to lose it.
