Lace infinity scarf using the Traveling Vine lace pattern first documented in the 1800s. The traveling vine pattern is most often worked in the round, is considered ‘true lace’ since there is no resting row, but is easily memorized.
One size, but you can vary by changing the number of cast on stitches in increments of 8.
Gauge is not important. I got an unblocked gauge of 36 stitches and 32 rows + 4”x4” unblocked. If you knit loosely, you will use/need more yarn; tighter, your finished product will not be as open as pictured.
Uses one skein of fingering weight, 400 -460 yards.
Size US6 circular needles, 22”-30” long.
One marker is required to mark the start of the row, but you might want to place a marker between each repeat of the lace.
