[size=1em]Koronki is a dreamy and elegant cardigan with a flattering, relaxed drape that hints at curves without clinging.
The swingy A-line shape is created by the lace triangle that grows from a small twisted cable down the back.
[size=1em]The cardigan is knitted in one piece from the centre back collar down to the hem, collar, front bands and all. Well, the sleeves (cointiguous, set-in, worked in the round) have to be knitted one at a time, of course, but there is no sewing in sight.
[size=1em]This is a new technique – Åsa’s Top-Down Ziggurat Tricnique! – inspired by Tuulia’s Tailored Sweater Method but knitted in one go, so to speak.
Step-by-step instructions and a photo tutorial guide you through the unusual beginning.
