I have always backstitched my name and the piece completion date onto the edge of the picture, (that will wrap behind the card I lace the picture onto as I frame it).
If its a big piece Ive started including the Chart name/or designer too. I think its a great idea to record who we are, and what we stitched and when!
Yo siempre pongomi nombre y el año en que lo finalizo en la esquina inferior derecha, normalmente a pespunte.
Hay que firmar todas nuestras obras como los grandes artistas jajajajajaj
I always stitch at least my initials and the four-digit year on my pieces. Anything I frame, I write my full name and other details like pattern name on the back. I use a very small backstitch font so its not very noticeable but can be seen.
Whoa, I never stitched my initials or date on my pieces. But its really nice idea!
Ive never signed my works. I made many works for charity, I made many small projects. Maybe some big project for my family - I like the idea about backstitching inicials in some not dark color "invissibly" or stitch it on the edge under frame, so it is not directly visible.
I only did this for a piece I made for my brother. If I am keeping the work I usually dont sign it.
I usually put my initials and the year I finish the project. I stitch them very small at the bottom somewhere not too obvious.
Never done this, but since Ive started working on some big pieces I wanted to. Maybe something small in a corner, like say 2 to 3 stitches tall sound about right.
i havent tried stitching my name on it :)
update: I always stitch my Initials in really tiny letters under my projects with the year I finished it
