Jack Skellington

This is a present for my mom, she adores the Nightmare Before Christmas.(My mom is awesome)
The stitching took me about 3 weeks, and then it sat on my table for a month while I procrastinated washing and ironing it.
I found an old frame at Goodwill, and hand cut a matte with an X-acto knife.I painted the frame (which was originally pink) and the mattes. The silver really pops on the inner matte. I created a spiderweb look with extra floss from the project.
I really want to keep this for myself!

You did a fantastic job on the framing. Nice touch using threads on it.

Looks fabulous, now you can do one for yourself and let that creative part of you do something completely different for the next one!
