Under the each hook there is the slot. Thread is fixed in the slot.

I think I get it, but not sure. Maybe you could post a picture of the back so we can see how the thread is attached?

Ah hah, I get it now. So it goes over the hook and then is held in place by ben pushed into the slit. Pretty cool! Ill have to play around with that idea sometime. Thanks!
