Tips: Quarter Stitches
I am teaching my best friend Marie how to stitch. I'm having trouble getting her to understand quarter stitches. Does anyone have any tips or stuff that might help? For a 3/4 stitch:
[*]This diagram represents one square. To stitch a three-quarter stitch, first bring the needle up at 1 and down at 2, stitching a quarter stitch.
[*]Next, bring the needle up at 3 and down at 4, stitching a half stitch to complete the three-quarter stitch. Three-quarter stitches may be stitched in any direction.
[*]I find stitching part 2 in the darker shade when laying next to a different colour quarter stitch adds definition, other wise if this is not needed stitch as
