Hi, thank you for taking the trouble to write.. Liquid detergent and a dye magnet..hummm. Sorry, what is a dye magnet? Where can I get this dye magnet? Thank You All for the great tips, will keep them in mind as I have projects tucked away that need finishing! Try Sharons Solution...purchase it online. It is a wonderful product, and will get out stains that have been in cloth for a very long time without doing damage. They do tell you how to test a part of your fabric, but I love it.It works wonders. My dear, I checked for it online. It looks like a great solution to the stain, BUT...I dont live in US. I live in good ole South East Asia - Malaysia is the country. Ive ordered items from Us, China, Hongkong and Australia. Generally, the shipping costs ALWAYS exceed the original item purchase cost.
But I thank you sincerely, and hope that your kind suggestion may at least benefit some other poor soul with the stained and yellowed cloth.
PS No, there is no equivalent here in the stores. maybe you can trybicarbonate of soda or backing powder.Or deying in an other color.
I put white fabric overnight in baking powder and the next day it was bright white.
