Parking threads?
Hiya folks!I've been stitching for many years but since browsing forums I've seen lots of people mention using a parking threads technique - what is this exactly and does it save much time/floss in your experience?
Thanks :)

same here, i'm usually a 'neat back freak' and the mess is driving me insane I can't do it as I stitch out and about, and I cut all my threads quite short - and prefer cross country stitching, but I love the look of it Gracias por la informacion Thanks for the info! Thank you so much thats very nice Hi! I just made a tutorial explaining how to park. Don't worry it looks more complicated than it really is. I don't really parking. It bothers me to have threads hanging out the front of my work. But give it a try I know a lot of people who love it and park all the time.

Hope this helps, good luck! Ah thank you! That's much clearer now! Not sure I'll use that technique too much but I might try it and see :) You're welcome! That is really useful, just need to try it. I always park my threads when doing large pieces but I hate the back of the work, it looks just awful. Anyone who did succeed keeping the back nice and tidy even though using the thread parking techniques? IamJamie replied at 2013-4-10 21:54 static/image/common/back.gif
