Ive gridded with cotton but its annoying me trying not to stitch over the top, so Im going to try gridding with a marker next time

Im too lazy to grid too. I just want to get started stitching! I have also seen people grid with pencil and Im not sure what theyre thinking!

I like to use pilot frixon pens for drawing grids. The eraser on them isnt why they vanish, its the ...
But, at least for the Frixon highlighters, as soon as you get the ink really cold again it reappears.
				
			
		I try to grid when using evenweave and use ordinary sewing cotton and unpick as I work the grids. Saves on mistakes and hours of unpicking				
			
		I always use Pilot Frixion pen to grid my fabric. The ink turns invisible when its heated. So after I finish stitching, I just need to iron my work and the ink dissapears, just like magic.

		OMG! I just got my Frixion pens after reading these posts, and have gridded a work in progress, and already it is easier to handle. THANK YOU ALL so very much.
