Pink Lily

Fabric : DMC Aida White 14ct
Floss : DMC (using 3 strands)
This is the first I used 3 strands on 14ct, because using 2 strands will reveal the white base of the fabric.

:loveliness: I occupy this level for my stitching progress!
Normally I will have more times on stitching during weekend (coz is non-working days). So after 24 May 2009, I had stitched the following:
The process is a bit slow, on 30 & 31 May 2009, I had stitched more on the leaves area.
Until 8 June 09, I had completed part of the leaves area and starting on the petal area. Due to the color of the flosses used is white and light pink, and I took the photo using my mobile phone, so the image is not that clear!
From 12 to 14 June, this is the progress, not much different coz I am still stitching on white and light pink color.
Below is the progress from 19 June until 21 June. I had almost finished the white color.
From 26 June to 28 June, I had almost finished the white and light pink for the petal areas.
I started on the light cranberry color on the petal, but feel the color seems like not too match....a bit upset.....
Below is the progress until 07 July 09, still stitching on the petal area......though still not really like the color....
I didnt update the prgress for about 2 weeks due to slow stitiching process and not feeling well. Below is the status until 26 July 2009, and I start to like the colors......:P
Nowadays I do not have much times to stitch.....:(, so below is the work until 10 August 09......
Because I am not working for the past 3 days, so I have more times to stitch my lily, here is the progress until 31 Aug 2009.
Updated 17 Sept 2009 : There are so many quarter stitches especially in the centre of the flowers......and i had almost finished them, very soon will start the backstitches........
Updated on 15 Oct 2009, I had almost done the backstitches for my Lily, so excited.............
Completed on 20 Oct 2009, I am not going to make it into pillow case, I will frame it and hang on the wall in my living room....

I love pink :) Its beautiful. And with your speed, I think you can finish it very fast :) I hope to finish soon then start on new work.....before my eyesight get poor......:P Wow, youve got a lot done. The pale pink is beautiful. This plot was embroidered with my girlfriend. Very beautiful! But, unfortunately, photos have not remained.
