Update 1 of Tree of Delight

Edited by anniekins at 2014-8-11 13:13

Thanks to tips and tricks from fellow stitchers in this forum, I managed to conquer the metallic thread without using Thread Heaven (because I couldnt find it on craft stores nearby and I wasnt too sure about the online shop that sold it). What I did was using 1/32 length of the skein (about 25 cm.) for cross stitch using 2 threads and 1/16 length of the skein (about 50 cm.) for backstitch using 1 thread, and I also tied a knot in the thread at the eye of the needle. And yeah, using a bigger needle and working slowly also helped.
