This is an exotic orchid flower... I was inspired to do this because my brother went to Japan. Konichiwa! What could be the best frame for this one?

Designer: Joan Elliot
Size: 11 x 14 inches

I would suggest perhaps a plain black frame the picture itself is pretty busy and you dont want to detract from the picture itself.

Lovely picture and your work is very nice!I think I would also use a black frame to bring out the colors.

i also think a black frame or dark wooden one would be best.something simple.you could maybe use a lighter one but i think the pattern is mainly light so the darker frame would help keep it together and highlight the few darker colours in it if that makes sense.balance it.its a lovely design.i love orchids.

Its very pretty, a beautiful pattern. Its a phalenopsis orchid, I have some and they are beautiful! I also think a black frame would set it off nicely. You did a very nice job stitching it, it will look wonderful hanging up.
