Water erasable pen
Is any one using the Water erasable fabric marking pen to draw squares on the fabric for easier cross stitch? Its called gridding. I think a lot of people do it for cross stitch but not everyone. I do :) I am using it on my really big piece.I do not use it for small or average size pieces. I use fishing line for mine as I dont trust the ink will come out. Just cautious! I do have the frixion pens though and plan on testing my fabric! Im using it on smaller pieces. Im always afraid that my long term works wont be "washable" ;p I grid my fabric with Pilot Frixion pen all the time. Its fast to draw the grids, and its even faster to erase the ink. Just heat you fabric with a clothes iron and the ink will become transparent. I know a lot of quilters use these pens to draw patterns and such. fei2x replied at 2013-12-17 22:08 static/image/common/back.gif

Frixion pens work likemagic. Ive been using these pens for almost 2 years now and I threw away all my water soluble markers a long time ago. LOL. Ive never used a grid or maked off my fabric and Ive done some really large projects that required a full yard of linen.I might grid if I ever did a HEAD chart.I would not use a pen but would use some type of thread or maverick floss to do the gridding. Wow. In this forum every day I learn somet new idea!! My son uses Pilot Frixion at school, but I never thought to use it to make a grid!Thank you very much.
