This is my library card catalogue cabinet.Picture was taken during my move last year and was setting up my cross stitch room.I put shelves in the closet to hold my charts and kits in magazine file boxes.

This is a great idea.I am trying to figure out a better way to keep all my floss.Right now I have a big mess. All my older threads are on bobbins in plastic containers but all my new flosses I have in plastic bags on rings in a craft bag.I have found that taking the colors I need for each piece and putting them on rings is working way better for being able to make it mobile.

Not only can you use the card files from old libraries, there are apothecary cabinets too that have the smaller drawers.

These small drawers are great for separating out all the little bits and bobs.

Brilliant idea with the card catalogue. Now that is repurposing with a purpose.
