A Mothers Day Gift

This is my completed free gift that had come with my Cross Stitch Crazy magazine about a month or 2 back. I made up one using only 1 strand because I wanted to make two.. One for my mum and one for my stepmum.. But I made something else for my mum instead.. So I am giving this to my stepmum.

Once I had completed the stitch, I then folded over the same amount of fabric either sides and then stitched using half stitches to give it a zigzag look and stitched it all together, including on to the holder.
I know some people do tend to just fold and iron the edges, but I wanted to make it look different and interesting...
