Has anyone ever tried "gold dusted" aida?

If so how did the project turn out? this is what it looks like!I would like to try this sometime.I would only use it for a little project like a biscornu. On a big project I like the picture to be the focus, not the fabric yes, i made a christmas picture a few years ago for my mother in law Following this thread Thanks for the info! no sorry, never heard of this

No, didn´t yet, but I´m addicted by the Zweigart Silver Aida and I´m looking for it to buy. But here in Moscow couldn´t find yet. Won´t give up. :)

Please somebody show a finished work. I fear that the fabric outshines the stitches. Thanks so much for sharing! Very nice thanks for sharing I used the silver version before and it turned out okay but it's not my favorite piece. Can you stitch an ornament or something small on a piece of it to try it out first? I have used both the gold and silver, gold for Angels for Christmas and the silver for quite a big project, it does not overpower the stitching, only if you are using metallic thread in the pattern you have to be sure it shows up.
