Embroidery scissors recommendations, anyone?
i've recently taught myself Hardanger embroidery, which requires a lot of fine scissorwork. And I'm finding my current embroidery scissors just aren't cutting it (pardon the pun). Can anyone recommend a good brand of scissors for this type of work?FYI, I live in Canada, but of course can order worldwide online. Thanks in advance :)I love my Dovo scissors for hardanger...they have a nice sharp tip and are razor sharp. :D Try out a pair of fiskars at Michaels....... use them in the store and decide.I have a cheap pair of stork scissors and they work better than some of my more expensive ones that I have. Go and give them a try, just make sure the blades line up nicely and find yourself a good professional to sharpen your current pair. They even tighten the screws and make sure they are perfect before giving them back to you. I'm using the Kai model from PRYM. Very practicals
Thanks for the advice, everyone.Much appreciated. For hardanger I used a surgical scissor called Iris scissors, its not a brand its a type of scissor with very fine pointy blades Following this thread Thanks for the info!
