I use interchangeable circular needles (both metal and wood) for bigger projects
and metal dpns for socks, hats etc.

Everything from knit pro, affordable and does a good job imo

I love chiaogoo both the red lace and spin sets.Now Im wanting to complement it with a set of knitpicks shorties wooden set since Chiagoo does not have this yet

I prefer wooden needles because they just feel better in my hands. I am okay with metal needles, but some days the sound of the needles hitting each other drives me crazy. Some days not lol
