how to make rosie cheeks

Hi,

Often I see crocheted or knitted (or even sewn) dolls with a pink rosie blush on the cheeks.
I was wondering what you use to make those.
And is it waterproof? Is the doll / softie washable afterwards?
I always like the way they look, but I dont know what to use.

Do you like pink cheeks on you dolls? Or do you prefer them naked.
And if you do like it, what do you use?

I have seen many tutorials where artist is using acrilic paint with a lot of wather. Insted of brush they use sponge.

I take a stamping pad in flesh-pink colour and tip it on, also marker works too.
And if you haven´t that you can use a brush and womens rouge (if you wash it will be gone away, then i make it once more on ;-) ) is not waterproof!
Feltplate under the eye, but is not my favorite...
and stitching it is a form too.
