Storing My Floss
You have all showed so many beautiful, cleaver and fun ways you store your floss and stash ... So here is how I store my floss, I have 2 "tool boxes" but I dont know many men who would store their tools in such beautiful wood chests with velvet lined draws, they are on shelves hung one over the other. There are 4 draws on each and the tops open up for more storage.I didnt take all my little figures and things off them before I took the picture, sorry, so the lids are not open.In each draw those plastic boxes with little sections that your wound bobbins fit in, I took the lids off and put them in the draws as they keep the floss all organized, of course all floss is in numeric order .. hope you like it :loveliness:thank you for sharing Please bearlette can I have one, t is so lovely wonderful. i wish i have this kind of drawer :loveliness: preciosos!!!!!!:$ there so gorgeous you are very lucky you are very organised! i have mine in a couple of shoe boxes, think i need to sort my storage out :) I have mine in the DMC plastic Sleeves that you put into folders...although I havent put them in folders, theyre stored in a plastic box. I like the sleeves cause you can put a whole skein in and dont need to wind it on or change it in any way to put it on the floss holder then put it in the sleeve I agree phoenixdark I also like the plastic sleeves.I do use them too sometimes to bring along with me on trips. It is quicker when you dont have to wind the little bobbins. But since I already started with the bobbins, and I dont know if I could find away to keep the stitch-bows standing in numeric order in the boxes, I will be winding bobbins :D
Thanks so much ladies for all the sweet compliments :loveliness: Reply 1# bearlette
