You know, it has been so many decades ago, I dont remember my first piece. One of the first was a set of Hardanger Xmas ornaments. I gave them as gifts to one of my sisters at Xmas that year. I used a white cardboard backing and glued them to tiny grapevine wreaths with red and green ribbons wound around the wreaths and tied at the top for hangers. That was over 20 years ago and she still uses them every year.
