I use a drawstring bag.That way my puppy cant do too much damage before I catch her stealing yarn!She could lift it out of the bowl way too easily!

What a gorgeous and thoughtful gift!I use a fabric yarn owl and/or a drawstring bag, depending on whether its a center or outside pull ball, but a yarn bowl works no matter what.Congratulations on your beautiful new gift :)
