Oyes I know what you mean, when my dog died, dont know the word in English it was a little black poedel, we take never a dog back, our dog was 12 years old, had a infection at her uterus no signs at all. At one day she trow up and didnt stop, it was to late and we must let her go.
But memories enough photos and we talk so now and then about her.
Im sure you will get another dog, but give it time till you ready for it.
