My daughter wanted one of those "Elf on the shelf" things last year, and the ones in store were frightening to look at! So I set about trying to make one. I didnt follow a pattern as such, just freehand and pulled bits and pieces from information I have learned on past projects. She came together ok, my family thought she was great and she served well through the month of December :) She will come out again for 2018 Christmas, maybe shell have a partner this year too :P
