Fabric paint/chalk/crayons
Hi,I’m looking for advise about fabric paint or chalk or pencil or crayons. I’ve searched the net and found tutorials that show artists using pencils and what looks like either chalk or crayons but I can’t find pencils, chalk or crayons that are specifically designed for use on fabric. I’ve tried using paint but can’t get the fine lines right so I thought s pencil would be better.
Woul the artists be using normal pencils and chalk/ crayons?

there are dressmakers chalks out there.. but i have also used normal craft chalk for red cheeks etcs. You can buy actual fabric pens on amazon or ebay ..copy and paste the following into google and you will find its the first result: Best Fabric Markers (PACK OF 24 PENS) Non-Toxic - Set of 24 Individual Colors - NO DUPLICATES - Bullet Tip - Machine Washable Paint - Perfect for Writing on Clothes, Clothing, Jeans, Pants, and Shirts Thank you very much!:) You can also buy waterpaint and I believe acrylic paint pencils from places like Michaels that you dip in water to do your drawing on fabric. They are in the art dept. In order for them to not wash off your fabric, mix your water with Martha Stewarts fabric paint medium. Hope this helps.
