Patterns in XSD or PAT FILE.

This is a real problem for me and I think other members.
You need a special programm PC- Stitch to get the pattern in a pdf file, like The Asian Lady in pink. You must know how to work with it, very difficult, there are a lot of members who will download these patterns. Then you get questions, how can I change it in a pdf file.
Not everyone understand how this works, and some pay a lot of coins and get notting.
Do it in a rar file or pdf much easier.

If I download a XSD pattern, I dont want it in a PDF. If its necessary I want to change some things. For example the sizes, the symbols or the colors.
I dont download very often a XSD pattern, but I know how to work with it in PCstitch viewer and Pattern Maker viewer.
When Im ready with the pattern, I save it in a PDF, I use PDF Creator for it.

These files are here for those members who know how to work with them and prefer them to the scanned files. Unfortunately, not all members for whatever reason can use these files.

Any member who has a problem or question can post on Free talk. Our members and moderators are always vey helpful in answering questions.

Many times there is a corresponding pattern in the scanned area. If you cant find the pattern there, members are encouraged to offer a bounty for the pattern you are seeking.

Patterns in the repaint area are to be in PCStitch (pcs) and/or Patternmaker (xsd) format only. Pdf files created from these files are not the original scanned pattern and are removed from this site. The reason you may be asking is the cost of repaints and there is a good reason why they are "expensive".

Both XSD- and pat-files are found only in the Repaint section - a section specifically for that type of files. There is information about these types of files on the main page of that section, the file types are mentioned in the info overview of each post, and the file-format is clear from the file names themselves.

Id say there is more than enough information for anyone and everyone to know whattype of file they are about to download. Removing an entire section of much loved and sought-after patterns in file formats that are clearly stated several places, and to replace them with other types of files, doesnt sound reasonable to me.

The pattern I want, was asking in the Bounty Area.
I searched in the scanned patterns, but it wasnt there.
New members or here for a few months download that pattern and then they ask, I payed coins and get a weird pattern and can do anything with it.
A member downloaded it twice, not everyone has someone to turn the pattern in a pdf.

I agree, the first pattern I bought was xsd and therefore useless to me. I work on an iPad. I thought I knew what to watch, but got caught again on an expensive pattern. Again frustratingly useless to me.

Maybe there could be some sort of warning to double check before you purchase.Even though the info is posted somewhere, it’s hard to find..this is a huge site.
