What does Y/D means?
Hello, what does Floss Brand Y/D mean?
(Riolis 1700 Cushion/Panel Spanish Lace)
Thanks for an answer.
Hi, from where you read this ? May be more clues help me understand it... Can you show pattern key? Usually Riolis uses its own wool threads. static/image/common/user_online.gif hamaratanne static/image/common/clock.gif 2019-2-6 16:32

only different greys (4)
No 1700 (1/4) 1 and so on, all 1700, but different colours
I dont understand this key, and why every colour has the same number. http://storage.salon-rukodeliya.com.ua/uploads/shop/90045_5b3e4cd860399.jpg
You need too much thread of each color, and organizer cant hold it in one place. So one color distributed on several places with one number. This is all based on the picture posted. The 1700 would be the pattern number.A lot of companies number their patterns and use the number for inventory instead of the name, because its easier for computers to track.Names can be confused between different patterns quite easily. The 1-4 are used to indicate which color to use on the pattern. It looks like from the picture that 1 is black, 2 is navy, 3 a dark grey, and 4 a light grey. Im not sure what the Y/D means, but if it is important to the pattern, it should be written up in the instructions as to what it means. static/image/common/user_online.gif toomuchreading static/image/common/clock.gif 2019-2-7 06:25

I think Y/D means the sort of the floss brand, DMC, Madeira, Anchor....But which is it? I have scan "Riolis 1700 Cushion/Panel Spanish Lace" but I dont see "Floss Brand Y/D" or "Y/D"
I read the instructions and there is nothing written about "Floss Brand Y/D" or "Y/D".
Where do you see it? Show in the picture, please.
Usually "Y/D" means Yeidam (brand or floss brand), but Riolis does not use them.
