Recycled boxes into pretty beads

My students and I work hard to recycle boxes into beads. We use cereal boxes and food boxes with colorful outsides. We then cut them into triangles just like you do paper beads, they come out perfectly round and with a coating of Modge Podge and drying them on styrofoam cups (which are reused all year) they are ready to be made into pretty necklaces!

Ooh I just love it! :loveliness: Could you show some more pictures and maybe some information on the size of the triangles you use to make them? I would really love to try making some. I have never made beads with paper either but it is on my list of things to learn!

Love that you are turning trash into treasure and teaching the next generation :loveliness:

What a wonderful idea! Not only are you teaching them a craft but the power of recycling. Kudos to you :)
