Suggestion about patterns
Hello everyone, and dear moderators,I like to browse through the crochet diary section and Ive noticed that many of us ask what pattern was used without getting an answer.
I know some DIYs may not have a look at each comment and therefore, may not see all those requests! ^^
Thats why I was thinking that we could suggest giving the reference to the pattern, when there is one. What do you think?
Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a pattern section so that members can identify the pattern used when someone is looking for it?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you for bringing up this issue! I quite agree with your suggestion and what the other members said, about giving the name of the designer and title of a project in diaries! :)
But, sometimes, this is not so easy because the patterns may be lost or old or simply isolated copies or print outs with no mention of the source or even they simply cant find a link of the pattern in the site because its uploaded in a different language (do you know how many "farfalle" I found here besides butterflies"? ;P)... In this case, it would be very helpful if other members who comment on the diary project and know the name of the pattern can share this information in their comments. I once had such a help by a moderator (thank you!). :loveliness: я тоже за! This is a great ideia :) It will be helpful
I suggested this awhile ago but it never went anywhere. There are people in this forum who do beautiful work and with 13 grandchildren and soon to be 9 great grandchildren Id love to have the pattern name so I could make items for them.I think its a wonderful idea and wish folks would adopt it when posting all their lovely work. So you are suggesting those that upload to the diary should post the pattern name and designer in their posts to let others know which one
they are working on? Sounds like a fabulous idea.Type of yarn used as well would be great. good idea I wanted it for a long time, but every time I was told that everyone in the Diary wrote what he wanted. you have a great idea Thats a great idea. Thanks for bringing this up.
