Permissions are 90? What does that mean?

Click on your user group (beside your avatar). Read permissions are the third entry on the list. When people post a pattern, they can set read permissions to different levels, so you have to be a certain level to download. If you want this particular pattern, you need to bring up your user level to DIY.2.
