As long as there are no links to the site I think its fine - too many trolls on the internet and I absolutely love this site - would hate to see it close.

I do not think I would personally like to hop to another venue, a very social venue, but also this would not affect me personally.I would not be making videos - I do not have the capacity to make videos, or the time to make videos.I barely go for youtube anyhow.Also to make comment on youtube, a person has to have an account (I think so, Im pretty sure) with Google/youtube and that would take away the anonymous nature to THIS forum, and is anonymous the point of this forum?Just my opinion.

I believe the risk might be greater than any reward. As CraftyLouAnna, Puppy, Hakemieke and DMCrafter have all made great points on reasons this could be a bad idea. Dont know enough bout youtube to make any suggestions on ways it could work. Thanks for the discussion :)

I think Crafty Lou makes a lot of great points.Also there are already so many craft/how to videos on Youtube would anything from Pindiy add something new or different?Probably not.Also, if you are doing the videos under the Pindiy "umbrella" would Pindiy exercise any control over the video contents?Seems to me if you are lending the websites name to the youtube video projects somebody would want to check out the contents before the videos are posted.
It would make much more sense to me that if Pindiy members wanted to post how to videos they should be on the Pindiy site not on Youtube.I know that I would watch a video on Pindiy before Id go looking for it on Youtube.

i love this site but many artists are not happy about their stuff being shared here. more publicity will create more problems. i would leave things as they are and not draw anymore attention to this site. there are enough problems as it is.... ;P
i would keep the idea exclusively on this site ONLY...
