choosing patterns

hello everyone! I hope everything is well for you. I recently get back to chrocheting and its like a whole new world ever since I discovered Amigurumi. I have a lot of things I want to make and I have downloaded a lot of patterns. I got overwhelmed by my own thoughts. How do you actually pick up a project from those pile of beautiful possibilities? I want to start everything but lets be real I only have two hands and limited time hahaha

Thats is my biggest problem!

Too many patterns, so little time, limited number of hands. I wish I was an octopus so I can work on 4 projects at the same time!

I know what you mean. I have had three projects rotating for a while now. It seems I cannot finish any of them. One of them I am totally bored with. Yet, I have new projects I want to begin. But I cannot allow myself to do that.

I can understand that you are overwelhmed if you discover something new. :)
Had that same feeling when I joined the group, for me cross stitching.
Have a lot of fun with Amigurumi and dont forget to post it and show your work oké?

I try to finish one project before I start a new one. My good intentions dont always work out. :D

If you have not done amigurumi before, start with a simple one. It is different because you need tight tension. Keeping even, tight tension without hurting takes practice and patience. Sewing pieces together takes practice, too.

To keep from being overwhelmed, I work on only one at a time. Or, if I am making several of the same thing, I do only one piece at a time for them all. It makes it less daunting.

I certainly will post my creations! Goodluck with cross stich too, I found a pattern that I really like on cross stitch but I think it could be really tedious so I would need to be extra persistence to get it done
