car pooling to work
I carpool with a neighbor in my town to where we both work.She drives, I pay parking.She gets the better $ part of the deal, but I dont like to drive so it is fine.We are going to move this summer, so I may have to stop carpooling with her in any event.She just sold her car and is now driving her daughters car. The issue is, the passenger seat is extremely low (it is a Honda) and there is no way to raise it.So, I have had to bring out a pillow to add to the car seat which is fine, but I am going to crochet a cover for the pillow so it will match the interior of the car.I could do any color because interior is black, but I have chosen to use the Red Heart Zebra black/white/grey yarn that I have on hand.I may have to make one side of Zebra, and the other of a solid color if I find I run out of yarn.Just making granny square.Turning out nice so far.Do any of you carpool?I have been carpooling for about 5 years now to work.No never, I was always the driver. Your pillow sounds very good, fits perfect with the interior, curious after the finish and please post it. :D I used to car pool many years ago. I was the driver. Since where we worked had free parking my passengers ........ sometimes 2, sometimes 3 ........ would give me $$ to cover the cost of the gas and the convenience of being picked up and dropped off at their door. I car pooled for a little while, I was the driver since I love to drive, and my passenger would give some money to cover gas and convenience and the parking was free. It was nice to have company but I also liked being alone since I can make the radio loud and sing along as I speed my way to work, LOL ;P
