Give your self a news break from the virus information for a couple of days.Right now there isnt much that anybody can do other than keep our distance from each other.Ive found that when Ive taken a break from reading all the virus updates I feel better. Our brains can only handle so much before we hit overload!
I think most important is to stay off social media where people are sharing "information" about the virus. So much of it is just garbage and its making people even more nervous. As an example some one I know was posting that our governor was going to shut down all the gas stations in the state at 3pm last Friday afternoon. There was absolutely no truth to that at all. However this woman managed to panic a lot of her friends to rush out and fill up their gas tanks.I know of another person who is posting that our hospital only has two ventilators and again that isnt true!People are making this all much worse because of rushing to their phones to spread rumors! I wish good health to all of you
Thanks Sylvana. Take care of yourself, here in Spain it looks very bad, we have already been in alarm for 10 days, at first it was for 15 days and they will extend it for another 15 days. I have very bad, you can not leave home, only to buy food, pharmacies and essential things. Contact with my children through telephone and videoconference Its a worrying situation, sylvana, for everyone. Although the death rate we are being told is around 3 to 3.5% its the economy around the world thats gone rock bottom. Everything has come to a stand still. All this panic buying, if you ask me its a butterfly effect which started from Australia after the video of two women fighting went viral. Now all this lockdown talk is making everyone jittery.
Besides everyone has suddenly become a expert and we are being bombarded from all the corners by so many theories its getting confusing.
I am too trying to stay calm but yes, anxiety and panic is taking over time and again...isolation honestly is not so good, butat this point of time we got no other option i guess, lets just pray this all passes away peacefully. Thank you Sylvana
I wish you and all those you and those you love good health Im worried, really worried. I just lost my dad to cancer. I dont think I can deal with the death of another family member right now!:( Its like a bad dream really. My dad was sick for only 4 months.
I hope this virus dies out with the warmer weather coming in the northern hemisphere. Marty my codolences for your loss, thats hard.
I understand that you are worried and scared.
Follow the rules from your gouverment, only on this way we can win. Stay safe Sylvava :) Stay safe everyone and wishing everyone good health. I have decided to stay away from social media all together. All the fear mongering going on and hysterics are just making it worse. I just want to keep a positive attitude while following the lockdown. Social media is just making people panic and it fan the flames of hysteria.
