I only use 1 on 40 count, 2 can be a bit bulky. Why dont you try it on a scrap piece first and see how you like it? Im sure that depending on what kind of linen you use it will make a big difference.

if it silken floss thenyes two strands may be good idea but not with cotton floss ....try it on a small corner before you venture on the new design.
