Sullivans thread
Do you like Sullivans thread, thinking of using it in a project HAED. Sorry, but I have never heard of Sullivans thread. Is there a DMC to Sullivan conversion chart?I would check how well the colours match first, so that the end result can be a happy one.
I did a google search regarding this thread and found this link. (delete the spaces after //)

From the replies in the link, I personally would not use it for a big project like HAED.
Hope this helps you. Thank you, they put the DMC number on it. Thank you for the feedback. Ive used it and have had less complaints about it than I do about DMC.
I absolutely detest DMC.
I would say find a small project with only a few colors and try the thread for yourself. Each stitcher is different. For example, people will tell you how much they love DMC and I just posted a LONG post about why I hate it.Each person is different and it really is personal if you have been stitching long enough. But I will say I am NOT teaching my niece on DMC. Ive used it and have had less complaints about it than I do about DMC.

I detest DMC as well and thought I was alone in my opinion.Nice to know Im not the only one. Sullivans is a new one to me. I wont use Sullivans floss. When Im not using silks or hand dyed threads, I stick with Anchor. I have used Sullivans floss. I find that it works as well as DMC and in my opinion frays a bit less and tends to tangle less when not using bees wax or Thread Heaven. Hmm, I hadnt heard of Sullivans, but then around here we can only get DMC or Anchor.
