This is a lovely pattern, but I think there is a mistake in the outfit pattern - rows 8-11 are 46 stitches (instead of 48). The "cape" is removable with holes for ears. There is no need to close the head if you sew it to the body.

Also when crocheting the cape it says to make 10 dec, but there is a mistake - zou need to make 10 sc in each dc middle stitch (or in each "arch")
