New Skirt and Shirt
Here is my new skirt and shirt. The skirt is all made by me out of two yards of fabric. I cut off a piece for the waistband. Then cut the rest in two equal pieces and one of those pieces was cut in half so I could have a seam to put the hidden zipper in the back. The wasteband is interfaced and closes with a button. The skirt seams are all serged and on the bottom I liked the fringe of the fabric so I just did a stay seam above it. The shirt is just a mens collared shirt that I added a pocket to (the very last scrap of that fabric) and did a rolled hem on the bottom. .
