Hahaha, I realize I miscounted too! I didnt take into account that they counted the last ch in the first side as a corner stitch that belong to both sides, and I thought theres one stitch not worked (10 stitches - 9sc+3sc in the last -worked on one side, but only nine - 8sc+1inc - on the other). Sometimes the patterns uploaded here are not the original ones, and riddles with mistakes While we do our best to keep these out, sometimes a rouge one might slip through the cracks.

Lesson learned: dont try to read a pattern after 2 am :lol

I think it is because of a translation from German..
But I see it sometimes in other patterns too:loveliness:
