Pattern is knit on straight needles using intarsia method for the giraffe motif.The giraffe body has a pocket which is knit separately & then sewn to the sweater.The ears are 3 dimensional: knit separately & sewn to the sweater.
Yarn Used: Cascade Yarns Pacific: 60% Acrylic / 40% Superwash Merino Wool100 g (3.5 oz) / 213 ydsColors Used:A: 2 (3, 3) skeins color #39 (French Blue), B: 1 (1, 1) skein color #33 (Cactus,) C: 1 (1, 1) skein color #84 (Persimmon), D: 1 (1, 1) skein color #12 (Yellow), E: 1 (1, 1) skein color #38 (Violet)
Knitting needles used: US 5 (3.75 mm) & US 7 (4.5 mm) Knitting Needles
